hi.often our perspectives and time horizon wont match considering our trading styles.....so cant comment on Rcom....for me...its good positional buy.....and just few days breaking above falling channel and looking for a rise to 133+........today;s a pattern which i dont like to trade.....a curved shape down followed by sideways pattern and that too above the support ie 120.....so.....take ur call....i think however u can well or more likely be right ["for few days"].... a reaction from 126 is natural and good .....
that said, break above 126 is important for fresh positional buyers.....
also Nifty shall again confuse the rise till 6650 [may be after expiry]....

and RK you know better than most that top shall be made not slowly buy in a spiral.....which is yet to come.....so shorting is something difficult....

a year or so back....same used to happen to me.....now no more, not even once....infact Rk gave some insights not to "average reverse trend & leverage"....i remember his comments to like effect - that markets can remain solvent irrationally and u can be insolvent rationally.....

True Amit, But there could be exceptions. Today in Apollo tyre it's an exception when there is nearly 4 rs discount between next month future and cash scrip where as it has a 1 rs premium in general.
That's why I took a position to short it in cash in tranches along with it's up move.
The risk reward also was good. This is the first time for me that I observed this phenomena of 1 rs premium in future turning in to 4 rs discount.
My reading was right and I got rewarded.
But again it all depends on understanding the context. Apollo tyre had a spectacular rally from past few months and to day it self it went up nearly 20 Rs from days low. Alas...I could not catch this up move.
But, I thought if future price is not catching up cash scrip ,cash will ultimately catch the future down side and ...... It happened.
This is the first experience for such a trade for me otherwise, I would have dared to post this call of shorting in cash in forum. I am really sad for that.

rk, keeping ear to the ground sometimes helps. Not only rubber prices have fallen lately , a recent report said that they will remain down till 2020. This has caused re-rating of all tyre stocks. Look at Ceat
so unless it closes and sustains below 10 dma, it will be difficult to judge where it will go.

True, Vinay,How ever Apollotyre has finally delivered a strong reversal signal ....Todays high could be a climax.There are 2 possible scenarios I feel .1,It may go down and correct directly from this level or else 2,It may go down a little and bounce up and make some sort of a double top and correct.
The chances of this rally continuing from here is really ...really bleak.

Look at my earlier comments and also this chart. RSI Div,(Of course this div is present there from quite a long time still stock is going up).The pin bar with high volumes and the topping tail piercing through B.B; Uptrend from quite a long time with out significant correction. Putting them all together... It's a strong reversal signal.
Todays high could be a climax. There are 2 possible scenarios I feel .1,It may go down and correct directly from this level or else 2,It may go down a little and bounce up and make some sort of a double top and correct.
The chances of this rally continuing from here for time being is really ...really bleak.
