conflicting views among FIIs. I had posted levels of <3000 and 2600. Don't know what will actually happen. May be TCS will disappoint and then all IT will suffer. |

apollo tyres now 173....one - never short a 'parablic move' two, short only based on Dow / break of trendline and unsucessful retest........its though said that parabolic moves can be one way down when they break.......

since last posted few days back, it shall not given up even an "inch"...and today also strict SL would have been hit.......reentries and reentries in an ever lasting bull trend.......and all thru the human mind wants to trade countertrend.....
now now may give way down......yes...but after bruises to not so savvy traders.....experts like you can still manage the risk..... |
Oh! Amit.We are not trading it intraday the stop loss is not yet hit .They are always on EOD(candle close) basis. I am well in position.my intraday SL is just above 170.
As you said trading corrections in an uptrend is not an easy task.May be I should stop trading corrections in rampant bullish stocks like Apollotyre. Even yesterday down move is not so convincing
How ever now it appears for me that this market is buy and hold market; keeping our SL at far away supports. It's not a trading market bull and bear traders both are getting whipsawed. |
Right..just asuggestion...my trading over the last month or so found that "bull traders" were not whipsawed...even from 6760 when first hit....
So also may be over the few months bulls may not be whipsawed unlike bears (next 2-3 weeks price action may turn s exception to overall bull market that shall continue election or no election and whether the IIP is what and what...that's how the early bull markets are built as they say...)
So wide stops for longs and narrow fo shorts should be ideal over the next few months and in fact years....to have postive expectancy over a significant volume of trades.... |

Yes, you are right. The day before down move gave a chance for a trailing SL at cost.....otherwise it would have been a massacre. |

Is it possible to touch a level around 2000
Any comments |
This post was made on 23.2.14, when Ultracemco was at 1800
And I hoped that we can see 2000 levels in 2-3 months.
But it met 2000 in just 10 trading days on 10.3.14.
And it did not stop here and made a high of 2280 on 11.4.14. in just 33 trading days.
I have observed that ULTRACEMO may be on the upmove again and if keeps its upmove intact then we can see a level of 2300/10 and 2330/40 in near future.
LTP 2216
Use SL/TSL (with initial SL at 2200/2190 and using TSL after 2245/50) |

I had suggested to buy MCX around 450-70 but I wonder if anyone bought. I won't remind again. CMP 590. |

Sorry Anup
I do not have IEOD data of YesBank.
But
It looks that YesBank is on the upmove and can move to 455.
But if it crosses and remains above 460 then may reach 475 and then 500 or so
But, do your own analysis before taking any position.
Use proper SL/TSL
Take care |

Thank You, Vinayji.
I was perhaps looking for a swing target of 1310-20.
But now will hold it for positional trade. |

if it goes up till 12/5, get out once. remember, it will be a highly volatile month with history of plus/minus 10% circuit. |
