Tata Steel support 388 , 381 .. Inversed HNS on weekly charts for Tatasteel with neckline @ 435.Hence 2 weekly close above 435 .. should take it to 695.

IMO
You are reading too much out of the weekly chart
Moreover, I suppose, we are not discussing for 2-3 (or more) years time span.

Saumya : With this kind of trending market and d-day on 16th... 695 can come in 2 month also. Very Happy

Agarwal, you will find such -ve div in hundreds of scrips and volume also not so high. But remember two things

(a) -ve div can vanish in no time since there is no such sign on weekly, and
(b) once a price makes an all time high, it actually becomes a great buy story.

so if your question is for trading, forget it. If it is for investment, I would suggests that you wait for dust to settle, no matter what govt comes or if there is hung parliament.

in that case, I had suggested over a week ago that one should sell 40 to 70% of investment depending upon one' risk taking nature. Even if market zooms up and keeps going up, it is better to take a fresh look later and buy at higher level. Being a bank however, you make take a risk and sell only 40% tmrw. Remember, yes bank hasn't made an all time high yet and hence 548 and weekly close around 543 are strong resistance. If it doesn't break this even if nifty zooms up, sell some more.

incidentally, I will not touch yes bank due to its crooked promoters. only icici, axis, etc.

I have been hearing a lot of experts on TV talking about IT being next to zoom up to prop up nifty, having fallen and consolidated a lot. I have a different view point, which is both fundamental and sentimental.

As you may be aware, India contributes a good amount to world GDP, particularly US GDP. Hence, a stable, majority govt. in India will boost economy not just in India but elsewhere. The large investors (funds) will start getting convinced that world economy is at last going to grow due to "brick and mortar", something that didn't happen for last 7 years. That will result in uprating of most sectors and derating of IT sector. The so called IT balloon will then burst. As far as Indian IT firms are concerned, a INR below 59 heading towards 53 will cause trouble to their earnings.

I had posted about a month ago that infy will be 2600 and tcs 1600 by july-aug. If that happens, you may start nibbling, mainly because long only funds discount a scrip one year in advance. Buying now will help you if it goes up in next 1-2 months but that's just trading.

looks bad. fall has more than discounted dividend. you only hope is daily/weekly doesn't close below 2365, which should be SL since a -ww can give 2035. having said this, there is +ve div on daily. Even if it goes up, it will be tough to close above 2475 but may give you chance to get out.

there must be hundreds worth investing but difficult for me to identify. personally I don't like public sector companies, which will always suffer in valuations due to inefficiency, corruption, etc. Best to go for private firms. in that too, initially look for index scrips from different sectors, particularly banks, pharma, fmcg, etc.

also, go thru my thread "a simple strategy for investment". Once you have understood, do some desktop study about fundamentals.
