Can anyone enlighten us as to: at what level we may consider entry into Bhushan Steel.
It has fallen to annual low of around 178 (with an annual hi of 504)
(In a similar case, I made a nice sum entering Aarti Drugs, some time back, after the blast in one reactor in one factory in Tarapur affected 3% of their revenues leading to +20% drop in price, the price shot up just as fast after reversal)

not just the arrest of its chairman but corporate governance issue will now derate it. as such it is making a loss on a huge turnover. now likely levels are 162.70/105.75/70. it may reverse from 162.70 but probably only by a few tens of rupees unless they are found not guilty. if u r happy with a small gain, that's one level to buy with a SL of about 10 below it.

by the way, it has become an excellent investment buy being at a 3 year low but alas, it's not a good company worth investing in.

Prakash, the above exchange took place on 12/8. today it became a 4 year low and excellent investment provided one has confidence that bankers will do something to run it efficiently. Note that it's market is auto industry and so prospects will be good. It also took support from a long term TL from 2006. Pl note that it can go lower also till investors are fully satisfied about its future. I intend to buy it tmrw for sure.

RK sir, PL NOTE THAT TODAY IT ALSO GAVE A -WW TARGET PENDING SINCE 2010. 24 24 2guns 2guns

Vinay: Thnx for FB, I have kept it on my radar in NOW, waiting for free fall to end
We have to be sure that today's +5% up and Upper Bound trig is SAR and not Pause and Continue
Please note that 2 more confidence building measures related to Bhushan are:
a) SBI Ch'rwoman wants to replace the existing chor Board with professionals of her choosing (dont know whether already done)
b) Assets are in good shape, production and sales have not fallen so with tighter rein on admin and finance exps, cut down on "chori", company should do well
Cheers, Prakash Holla

Please give your view on JP associate in different time frame. How is its fundamental position?

Vinay
sometime back in June you mentioned Tisco tgt 950 by Dec 14. In view of recent correction any revised tgt?
Also what about Veer Energy now it has come down to Rs 4 levels as you mentioned.

sanjay, I think that target was given by Mr Raja. I haven't looked at it for quite some time as I am holding it for long term unless I feel market may crash but that seems very unlikely as of now.

as regards veer, it could turn out to be a hoax. I am thinking of keeping different SLs for different qty e.g. say daily close below 3.70, weekly close below 3.60 and monthly close below 2.50. If it goes up, immediate target is about 6.50 in about 3 weeks.
