sam you are stretching yourself too much with a fixed mindset. Better cover your nifty and stock shorts. BUT, you should get a chance today to cover at lower levels I feel.
My worry is when you decide to go long next week, market may have peaked. |

Hi Sunil,
L&T is trading around 1360 now. If the stock closes above 1360, there is a chance of the stock testing 1410 and then 1440. The immediate support is at 1330. Below that, 1295 will provide the support. The bigger move for the stock will be when it breaks 1460 levels with good volume.
Regards,

Murty,
Your positions will be in profit if the market goes below 5030 or if it goes above 5470. I'm not a big fan of buying CALLs and PUTs together for a few days. Because, nifty may not move much from here. In that case, you may not make any money. When you are buying both PUTs and CALLs, you are expecting some big moves on either sides. To reap the benefit, one will have to hold the position for long. Holding long means, diminishing time value. So, my suggestion for you is this. Identify the maximum loss you can afford out of the total 171 rupees. Keep it as a stoploss. Suppose, if you can afford 15 rupees, then you must exit the options when the total value will be around 155. Like that.
NOTE: Ask me any doubts you have in this regard. I'll be more than glad to assist you.
Regards,
Sam |

Banks will perform better only if the banknifty breaks 10100....vinay...else, you can expect at least some profit booking.....That includes Axis Bank which rose from around 770 levels to 1100. Some cooling is needed before any up-moves (if any). |
