sam is right murthy. I feel that you should get out of puts if nifty remains above 5290 NS for some time while if it remains below 5250 for some time, get out of calls. I feel you may be lucky to do one of the two by tmrw.

At what value of nifty did you buy them? Both at same value of nifty, which is the correct way?

Baltic Dry Index has been crashing for the last few weeks. It has made a new 26 year low yesterday. Even though experts are arguing that the Baltic Dry Index is losing its relevance, the "26-year low" might have an effect with the shipping stocks. If there is any effects, one can see the effect in a day or two. An important thing to note here is that although the index has been crashing, the shipping stocks across the world was not following the index. I just want you to inform this information. Watch out the below mentioned stocks which are related to the shipping industry.

GE Shipping
Shipping Corp
Pipavav Defence
ABG Shipyard
Mercator
Great Offshore
Essar Ports
Essar Shipping
BharatiShipyard
Seamec
Varun Shipping
Western I Shipping
Global Offshore
Chowgule Steam
Shreyas Shipping
Haryana Shipping
SKS Logistics
Scindia Steam

Sam

Hi Vishy,

Tata Elxsi is strading around 227 now. Immediate support for the stock is at 218.5. On the supside, the stock will find resistance in the area 235-238. If crossed this area, there is a chance of stock testing 260. However, if the stock gone below 218, the next support is around 214.

I'm pretty bullish about Ambuja Cement in the long run. I have recommended this stock a few weeks back as a long term pick. This stock is heading for 200, I guess. The immediate support is the previous high which is around 167. However, for any medium to short term, the strong support is in the range 161-157. If the stock comes back to this band, then it will be a great buying opportunity. There is nothing wrong if one books profit around 190 levels (if it goes there in this swing itself).

Regards,

Sam

Most of the Shipping Stocks are moving up. Is this the Final Leg of the Up-move??...or are the traders expecting a bounce back in the Baltic Dry Index??? Question

Another Interesting thing....There is a belief in the market that the SHIPPING and Fertilizer stocks always go up in the last leg of the rally. If that is the case, then one must believe that the market is near its top. But this is not a well-documented fact. So, nothing to worry. I'm just sharing this as it is interesting....

Sam

Hi Shirish,

Maruti Suzuki has immediate resistance at 1222 (1232 is the recent high) levels. If the stock is able to close above 1223, then the stock can move to 1275-1290 range. Above that range, 1360 could be possible. The stock has immediate support around 1180-1170 levels. Any breach of this area, the stock might correct to 1110 levels. Below 1100 levels, the stock will test 1030 levels.

Financial Technologies is trading around 792. The immediate support for the stock is around 773 and immediate resistance is in the range 808-821. If the level 821 is broken, then the next target will be 860 and then 920. However, if the stock dives down below 773, then the next supports will be 755 and 695.

Regards,

Sam

Hi Sunil,

Escorts is a SELL according to me, at least not a BUY. The stock is trading around 77 now. One can sell this stock if it comes to 80.5-82.5 range with stoploss above 83. The immediate support for the stock is around 74.5, but a major support will be around 71. Below 71, the stock could test 63 levels. If 83 on the up, is broken, then the next resistances will be 87 and 95.

Regards,

Sam

Hi Sunil,

Orchid Chemicals is trading around 172 now. If the stock closes above 171 levels, then there is chances of the stock going up. The next targets then would be 181 and 189. However, if the stock fails to close above 171 levels, then the immediate support is around 166. However, if the stock breaks 166, then it will test 150-147 levels.

Regards,

Sam

Orchid Chemicals has achieved all the targets. The high made today is 189.3. The stock is trading around 186 now..
