Dear friends,
Sorry if am posting in wrong forum. I searched many and found this one close to resemblence for my query.
I am seeing the Indicator
Fast K and Fast D.
Fast K is the raw data. It has 3 inputs
Fast D : MA of K. It has 2 inputs.
Please can you tell, which input data is for what.
For FAst K, I assume that 14 day is mostly useful. But here it is 3 input provided. Among 3 input data given in jcharts, I found one input is the range data (80 or 100 etc): rest two are confusing me.
Please clarify my doubt.
Thanks in advance,
Anil |

FastK - There are three inputs. First one is the key parameter - the period for computing raw %K. The second and third are the upper & lower levels for the indicator where lines have to be plotted for overbought / oversold indications.
FastD - There are two inputs. First one is the parameter for raw %K, second one is the parameter for period to be used for averaging (smoothing) the %K. The smoothed line is plotted as FastD. In this case parameters for OB/OS levels is not available (80/20 are used).
Let me know if you have any more queries on this. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar
