Have you people noticed one thing....
Nifty in last three sessions though always closing higher than prev day close...But at the same time never closed higher than the opening tick
and Incase of BankNifty....last three sessions never breached prev days high.

Can we draw any conclusions from this pattern...

Yes, we can draw that....Market is bullish (Indicated by gap up openings) but not able to go up(indicating some sort of exertion) but at the same time it's neither showing any weakness by closing above previous day's close.

A neutral market with bullish tone. It can move either way....which way?... will be decided by market makers.

If it's trading above yesterday high go long with yesterday's low as SL. If it is trading below yester low go short with high as SL (with SAR in either case). That's the best way to trade in index at the moment if we are specific about trading in index. Otherwise, plenty of opportunities in individual stocks.

Better to ignore index trading for the time being.
