Sonila,
Regarding ur 3rd &4th trades,in 3rd trade the 5 min tf the candle closing above 20 ema is @ 12.40 pm.at that time nf is @4818.Pl explain how u enter @12.35.03.
In 4th tradeat 1.21.11pm, 5 min candle was closed below 20 ema, but at that time PSAR is below cmp.can u pl clarify and guide.

in call 3-- i wanted to know that- in 20 EMA and PSR value was below 20 EMA at 11.35--candle closed 4800-- next candle in spot closed above 20 ema-- at 11.40--4812--


In call no 4-- 1.20 closed below 20 EMA but PSR is below the rate still in candle 1.30-- closed at 4791-- PSR is above the rate --

can u please explain this

Today i m following ichart spot nifty chart instead of yahoo-chart as suggested by SWINGTRADER.Following trades made till now.
TRADE.1
Bought 2 lots @ 9.55.37 @ 4816
(Reason, 3ema crossed above 15 ema (3min tf NF) and psar is below nifty spot(5-min tf) and cmp is above 20-ema line( spot nifty,5-min tf),candle closrd above 20-ema line)
Booked 1 lot @ 10.31 @ 4831(+15)
Booked 2nd lot @ 11.31 @ 4846(+30)
total =(+45)
Hi sonila, some queries
1. Your entry in trade 1 was (as mentioned above ) at 9.55..while i observe 3/15 crossover in 3tf at 9.45am..at that time other two buy conditions met in 5tf nifty spot also..so your entry at 9.55 not clear to me.
2. Reverse crossover (for sell) happened at 11 am in 3tf..but 5tf didnt support so no sell..But
3. Again 3/15 crossover happened in 3tf for buy at 11.12 am candle & 5tf also supported..but this buy trade was not taken..??? Am i missing sumthing..pl enlighten

queries regarding trade-3 & 4 are same as put by two gentlemen earlier..i observed nifty spot chart in 5tf..

Friends,
i don't trade using this method. But often find mismatch regd candle time.
If there is dispute regd 2 diff candle times with 5min diff, means one person saying c/o happend/entry is at 11.25 and other saying it happende at 11.30, then pls consider candle timing nomenclature followed:

TAke candle bet time period 9.15-9.20
Now ODIN will call it as 9.15 candle ( candle start time)
whereas
Ichart calls it as 9.20 candle ( candle end time)

Is confusion happening 'sometimes' coz of above ?

Sonila: Can I humbly ask for a clarification. In Yahoo Finance, dont they write " quotes delayed by upto 15 minutes"? Then how do you achieve such good trades using Yahoo Finance? (NOT doubting, just wondering). Do you place sell/ buy in advance 15/30 pts beyond initial buy/sell? If my above is correct, then you will achieve even more fabulous trades & results in ICharts as ICharts is updated every 3 seconds
Other IChartians: Not at all doubting Sonila's profits, not asking for ledgers, not asking for proof, I am not income tax officer, just friendly query from one IChartian to another, OK?

Lots of doubts......Let me clarify one by one.
First sthg about my limitations.......i cant immediately ans to queries as i have my other responsibilities.......let me clarify.......i am a married woman with a kid.....so first i have to give time to my husband and kid....then i can open my computer.....so sometimes i m unable to ans querries.

Regarding yahoo finance chart, what u have mentioned,QUOTES DELAYED UPTO 15 MINS, is true for only particular stock....but for spot nifty, it is regularly updated.
Anyhow, from today i m using ICHART.
Regarding ur 2nd query, after a buy, i immediately place sell.1 order and sell.2 order at 15 and 30 pts respectively. And for a sell trade, the vice-versa.
Hope i m clear.
