You need to take volatility in consideration, while thinking of setting margin.
for Currencies if you see in currencies itis 42 times in Euro-inr and USDINR is 20 times... Since volatility is very less that many times is OK.

I take 5 times the position. Rs 20000 for 1 lot of LEADM approximately

Initially when i entered i has lost a lot in NIFTY trading, had as much only for margin when i started comm.

Same with me too.
I tried Nifty trading and after 3 years I realized that
Nifty was not my cup of tea.
Started commodity last year and I am
Ok in profit now.

I tried looking the same setups on NICKEL & Copper tooo and it looked wonderfull. I did not backtested yet on these metals.
Let me complete first LEADM and come to LEAD (Large contract).
Later will decide.
