Hi All
Just wanted to know as per Rohanji strategy, how much money we should have to trade two lot of LEAD future, if we book first lot at 0.25 or 0.30 paise and the 2nd lot till the signal of ST reverses.
I had asked this question earlier also but was not satisfied to the answers. My strategy is till now, I should have 20% of money of the lot size of lead at broker or bank to trade one lot.
e.g. 135 * 5000 = 675000, I should have Rs. 1,35,000/- to trade one lot of LEAD.
But as per this strategy I feel that the probability of hitting 0.3 or 0.25 paise for LEAD is much higher, somwwhere I feel that I can take a risk of trading two lot with the above money.
I want to know what other traders do, to trade two lot of LEAD. How much money are you people keeping aside to trade two lots ? I mean what amount of margins someone keep to trade two lots.
Lets see If I am comfortable I will also follow the same. Since I am small trader trading on mini lots, I have to be very conscious on margins to keep aside for trading and also effective returns on my trading capital.
Please guide or if possible active discussion.... |

Hi..first of all, for carry forwarding your position, you need to have only 5-8% as margin..8% is maximum margin required..
..if you have 1 lakh in trading account, and using this startgery as per rohit ji rules...it will work very well..for trading lead main lot |

mm is very imp part of trading... people trade 1 lot of nifty for 1 lakh to face whips.... so at least keep 1 lakh per lot..
yes 2 lots in 1 lakh is possible but not advisable |

yes i agree with you regarding MM..even i trade nifty with 1 lac per lot..
but here case is somewhat differernt..as we are going to book out 1 lot quickly..so i suggested 1 lac for 2 lot .. |
