just see rate of

Zinc--- its 110.20

Lead is 116.65---

so diff now is 6.45 points

at this time--- buy zinc and short lead--

when Diff is 8-- and then 10-- again do it

book profit when diff is below 5 points

when diff is 2.5--3 points--

Short the cheaper commodity-- n buy the expensive one
usually it will be short zinc and buy lead

if diff goes to 1-- or flat or negative--- add more

book profit when diff is 5--6--

During this week beginning this lead zinc pair gave a difference of 8.30 the same day it came to 7.10. You have mentioned that it went to 26 can you please tell me when this happened. Also welcome your suggestion on the other pairs like copper and nickel. aluminium and zinc, aluminium and lead.

on 9th April 2011-- Saturday-- lead spiked to 135-- where as zinc was 115--

this was highest diff of 21 points till date - lowest was in this year only when diff was negative-- lead was cheaper then zinc--

I have no idea of other commodities which u have mentioned

Thank you Rahul. I tried this pair @ 1rs difference then went to 3.10 negative holding for more than a month and squared off but thereafter it went up. We have to go on doing this on daily basis on every contract and book profits wherever possible. rs. 2 to buy L and sell Z and viseversa. @ 8 rs. Thank you for valuable information.
