NSE Breadth Oscillator as on 17th May 2019
Short term up move started. The coming week is going to be tricky & volatile. Those doing active trading, stay safe. Deleverage and stay in the game.
As previously mentioned, whenever both short term and medium term breadth oscillators are near bottom (like now), it is usually a good time to add to long term equity positions / portfolios especially the ones like equity mutual funds or index ETFs. NOTE: This is for long term only....those who do kind of manual SIP. Market can still continue down as it has happened before but if done regularly using this pattern it has been a good idea. This is just for consideration and not a recommendation to do so. Do check with advisor about the same. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

NSE Breadth Oscillator as on 20th May 2019
Short term oscillator has shot up due to the up move today but medium term oscillator has not moved much. I will probably take a look at the breadth oscillators by end of this week to decide further action. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

NSE Breadth Oscillator as on 27th May 2019
As of now things look good. Short term breadth at top and long term and medium term moving up. Breadth seems to be behind this upmove as of now. On NIFTY50 index the move has been sharp so a breather could be due (maybe only sideways). But everything else looks okay as of now. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

It's old school term / method to enter or keep away from mrkts.
When a shorter term daily moving average (dma) crosses over long term dma its called golden cross... usually its when 50dma crosses over 200dma.
Vice versa is called death cross. |

I was tied up with some work so could not post in the last couple of weeks. Here is the latest chart:
Downtrend seems to have started. Whether it is a short/medium/long one, no idea. Have to go with the flow and re-analyze as it develops. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar
