in the nifty example the values are of spot nifty pls note that
you can down load this work sheet on yr desk top take values of minimum of 30 days and apply this formula to your interest of stocks

Let me summarize my understanding:
Basically we are looking for a flat BB band and play the breakout or use it as resistance/support and take contra trade.
A flat band may be defined as ,
1. Upper band of current bar - upper band of prev bar <= X
and
2. Lower band of current bar-Lower band of prev bar <=Y
And
3. X and Y are almost same.
The values of X/Y may slightly vary for different scrips. But should be less than 1 for most the scrips.
When this is satisfied,
1. We may go Long, if the candle closes above Upper band
2. We may go Short, if the candle closes below Lower band
3. We may go short,If the candle tests Upper band but closes well below (contra) - Case of UB working as resistance
4. We may go Long, If the candle tests Lower band but closes well above (Contra) - Case of LB working as support

previous day upper band value is that so.
a low above previous day upper band means u can buy in truck load |

on the row 363 and 364 values of d e f g are not same or nearest
so last scinario will be used that is row number 355 356
if u want to go long let us prices retresses to those values or wait up to u get get same or nearest values in column "g" or the lowest value in column "g"

dear akxsat,
B B 20(2) takes too much time to perform this task so i constructed it to get early signal.
we basically wait to tighten the band as much as it can. (the lowest value in "g")
if that dont happens then we use same or nearest values in columns d e f g
correct?

Dear Milan,
if you want short
nifty spot high should not be above 5132.62
if it is higher than it then see intraday chart and when you find that 5132 is acting as resi. you can go short with closing base stop of 5132
correct ? |
