Avoid trade being very less time left for the day..those who can afford gap up opening ..may consider to initiate and hold position for tomorrow
for me day over..decided no new trade beyond 14.30 - 45

regular long 9.55 bar 5090 ( i plcd sl @ 5077, so my isl did not trig) closed @ 5136.60.. @ 1.40 = profit 46 points
reversal short 2.50 @ 5116 covered 3.20 bar @ 5122= loss 6 points ( i shd hav stayed away like jjm sir )
in total = profit 40 points..
st sir, is there any special rules to carry the trade.. |

sir,
reversal short rule in mtt system ..( copied and pasted from the rules)
FOR REVERSAL SHORT TRADES (one of the below, whichever is earlier):
1. Let WMA close below SMA.
2. A close below the most recent swing low that is below both moving averages OR if the swing low is not below both moving averages then the close of the bar that breaks the swing low must be below both moving averages.
so as per this v can short blw 90 but that bar has to close blw mov. avg and mvg avg cross over has to b in place.. |
ST Sir,
I had asked you a similar question two days back. And I am still confused. For fresh reversal trades WMA Sma crossover or swing break anything can be used whichever occurs earlier or do we need to wait for both to happen. I just wanted to know whether my interpretation of the rule is any one condition should be a trigger. ( I fully understand that when we are already in a trade for TSL and reversal we can wait for swing to be taken and not to jump out on cross over) But for fresh positions need your advice.
Sorry to bother you again and reply whenever you are free.
Thanks in advance,
Kishore |

vkisho,
One of the two conditions (wma/sma crossover or break of swing high/low) is enough. BUT when one is already in a trade break of swing high/low is necessary.
I think this differentiation is not clear in the trading rules, I will modify the rules to reflect this.
Thanks. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

Good work!!!
Yeah, it is not advisable to take late trades especially after 2:45 or so as we near the profit taking / intraday position closing time. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar
