Hi ST,

CCI touched -100 and moved to 100 as WMA is above SMA on LTF and HTF. Is this the opportuinity for long?

For trend we need to check HTF. At 10 AM HTF went bullish as we got WMA/SMA crossover. From then on we need to start looking at CCI pullback (CCI going down to -100) on LTF. This happened at 10:10 in LTF. The 10:20 bar was the long trigger when CCI closed above 0. ISL is just below the recent swing low.

What about second condition in LTF ..a close above recent swing high..I mean a 5tf candle close above swing high??

2nd condition also should be checked after the 10 AM 15 min bar close in HTF (trend changed to bullish after this), the swing high of 4961.75 was the swing high that needed to be broken but before that we got the CCI pullback entry.

Thanks ,but what about the 2nd rule in LTF a close above recent swing high??


STS gave + cross over indicating bullish trend..

Still need to understand this rule of close above recent swing high..

Yes correct and also STS was in OB zone at the same time.

Now the WMA has crossed SMA from upside down ... and STS is at 70 on HTF..

Stopped out...no reversal short yet though. STS on HTF is OB but swing low below WMA/SMA not broken yet. Don't jump the gun...let the trade come to you. Risk now high as price moving fast. Wait for the signal and initiate trade only if ISL not too far away. All trades need not be taken....

Swing low broken but stop for the reversal short, if taken, about 30 pts away...

Sure...will do it. I still have to go into details of the swing high/low break condition. I will try and do that with examples.

If the CCI on current 5 min bar (11:15 AM) closes below 0 we have a regular short entry with ISL just above recent swing high of 4938.70. This trade again is high risk as STS on HTF is below 30 (though the 15 min bar is not closed yet). Still maybe worth a try....

sir, in htf 15tf. . 10.45 candle the sts came down.. does'nt this confirm the trend. or should v c values of sts in such cases..

can this b used for other stocks also.. plz clarify.
