A suggestion, pls post the chart even if u have not traded, as loosing time is also a loss. why did u had bearish bias ? if u follow technicals obviously ur mindset should be non-biased. u use a machine to trade. decision should be machine like.

Hi Manu,
Its look interesting to read what u have written but its only philosophy as u never ever cut emotions following techinical will only help in having the bias with no bias mind (bull or bear) which side will u trade then. u need to have bias and there is nor machine its the mind which trades and we can only channelize the emotions can't throw them out we are too human, which is good I think.

hmmmm.
we have two things.
ONE: mind, brains, logic, reasoning,mathematics, technicals, tgt, sl, etc.
TWO: emotions, fear, greed, tension, depression, disappointment, confidence, overconfidence, gut feeling, etc.
that we use in trading in speculative mkts.
Actually we use combination of both.
Now about being "biased." we are to be biased if we want to be in a trade. and we ought to have a reason for taking a decision. my suggestion was regarding this " reason". |

yes manu, even i thought of posting that chart where i missed the chart. but if that is the case there will be number of trades where we thought of entering but decided to wait for some time. and by that time the price moved some where and the risk reward ratio will not help us by that time. hence to miss the trade. so i restricted myself to put only the executed and failed trades. I also want to mention here that i also had some good trades in between these failed trades 
and reg. mind, i agree we need to overcome bias and trade like machine. and also i agree with sherbaaz that we cant trade exactly like that especially when u are trading with ur own money.  My way is i will prefer to miss the trade than to trade with half minded, when there is a mismatch between my mind and market |

shorted JSW steel on rejection near to 34 and was waiting for a long time to reach my target which was S1 with SL as cc above pivot or 89ema. Thought the target achieved, if i have waited for some time the benefit would have been high.
Not sure what profit i should expect in intra on stocks particularly.
though i have entered earlier the ideal place should have been the one i circled. i believe |

One thing to note here is that most of use do not talk about failure. so any one who failed feels he is alone in the ship. now reading this gives me some comfort and confidence that i am not alone in the ship. yes we do have failures and success. one has to go beyond this.... which takes much time and experience. how ever one should look at failure only to know from it and success to enhance once confidence in him self and in technical analysis. this is all about looking at failures in a positive way.

are your trades real or you want to trade like that . i dont understand. yes both dlf and tata steel are good trades if you have entered and exit as per you mentioned. Gold BEES seems to form positive divergence . may try a long there. But i dont track those.
if you want comments from others (I am a newbie sir) pls mark your entry and mention your SL also at that time. and then mention about your exit and also the reason, ie if target achieved or SL hit. etc
