I have gone long on Friday. May be risky but I feel it's worth it.

3 month bond yield crossed over 10 year yield in US on Friday 22/03, first time since 2007 crash. Hence, caution advised.

An update of post on 04/02/19 in which I had asked "will July '18 repeat?"

It did repeat perfectly.

Now the question is "will Sept '18 repeat?"

Posting after almost 2 months.

Nifty is crucially poised. Even if it does reverse from here, it may go back to 11900/12100, probably former but bank nifty will underperform nifty. But after that, I feel, much more pain awaits bulls and investors as nifty is likely to tank viciously, perhaps breaking 11000 in 2 months from now, say, end august.

so far so good. this "V" shaped recovery can fizzle out. Caution advised. Bullish only if sustains above 12100.

I feel a vicious reversal soon can not be ruled out. Last straw is about 10771, still about 300 away.

sorry for a post after a lone time. been away for a while.

No problemo, Senor Sol!
Nothing much happening anyway
I myself absent from my thread as trades are few and scarce

Why use the word VICIOUS? And what is the trigger for the reversal you are talking about?
Economy not doing so well BUT dividends coming steadily so many companies are chugging along at steady speed

target done in July end, in only 1 month....can we expect some pullback from 61.8% fibo at 10800 in nifty.

sorry, saw your message just now. I did mention that we may see a reversal soon. Also, Friday low was about 10782. if 10771 is hit, then we may see much lower levels e.g. about 10200/9500, no matter whatever the recovery after hitting 10771.

if global situation also worsens, all hell may break loose, giving much lower levels by april/may'20, which are best not mentioned now, being speculative.

if it's just a major technical correction, 10771 should not be hit. valuations are very cheap and strong buying may emerge as a long term investment. one can never predict the whims and fancies of the firangis. but I would rather grab good mid/small cap scrips than large cap.

Sol: you may be right. IF finmin Nirmala quickly addresses concerns of Firangis about super tax (there's talk of ordinance to address the issue)
AND with positive effect of Kashmir capture

THEN the sharp reversal you talk about can happen. We should be prepared for it

Cheers, Prakash Holla

10771 was taken out. so after a technical reversal of perhaps a few hundred points, we may see fresh down move, targets being 10288/9561/9110. I don't intend to spread panic as such lower levels may not come. let's go step by step. EPA is latest by May 2020.
