| Though nifty broke crucial level of 11900 today, I am willing to give it a benefit of doubt as today's momentum was due to fear of Vodafone Idea shutting down. If I am right, it should go up netx week. |

It did go up as posted. Now caution advised. Perhaps last two days for another 50-100 up. Then may be a major correction. |

It did go up as posted. Now caution advised. Perhaps last two days for another 50-100 up. Then may be a major correction. |
Nifty is at a crucial stage now. Ideally, it should not cross above about 12118/45, give or take a few and should close at or below 12056. Let's see how this unfolds. I have taken some puts and keeping fingers crossed. |

Nifty behaved exactly as I wanted but I am not very happy because RIL and banknifty didn't. let's see what happens in two days. |

looks like the fall has begun but too early to say. strong support exists around 12000. below that about 11700. but the fall can be sharp. |

in spite of the sharp rise on Friday. I am not convinced. bullish only if sustains above 12294 for a few days. |

as expected, market tanked. I covered my puts by EOD though hoping for some recovery to short again. |

didn't give me the Friday close I wanted but the fall today was good anyway. It should fall more on 21/01 but may reverse from 12100/050 but recovery may not last more than 7 days and fresh fall may begin. fingers crossed |

5 year chart of Baltic dry index. It is on the verge of breaking below a 4 year trend line. If it does and sustains below it, theoretical target is zero since it amounts to triggering break down of a broadening and rising wedge. This means in 2020, global trade may grind to a halt except for oil and gas and that too will reduce. Each country will have to manage on its own with hardly any import and export. Though India has miniscule global shipping trade, it too will suffer. In such a case, best to buy dividend paying companies with at least 80% domestic consumption.
What's more, dollar chart shows a death cross on last day of 2019 which means it may fall a lot. |

reversed from level between 12100/050 as posted. next week crucial. I still feel more down side remains. |

| I have covered all my puts today and bought a few calls for Feb. Will short again if it goes up tomorrow/Thursday with SL above 12160 or if it closes below 11993. |
