covered my nifty and banknifty calls and bought small qty of puts. It crossed 12160 and then fell. fingers crossed. |

I have now covered puts and bought small qty of calls considering the budget on Saturday. |

I covered my calls in morning and bought puts but closed too early.
Amazingly nifty closed exactly at same level as on 18/10. what's more the weekly closing is also same. Nifty is now back to post corporate tax cut level. I am now long in nifty, bank nifty and RIL. next week crucial. fingers crossed. |

worked out well. but this week remains crucial. so I booked my calls partially and have also taken small puts as hedge. |

looking at the trend, bought a very small qty of calls and covered puts as they were not rising much. hopefully tmrw we will see a low. global situation worrisome and hence avoiding extra bullish stand. will decide tmrw afternoon. |

global situation is indeed creating issues. keeping fingers crossed. close below 11990 can be worrisome. At the same time, sustaining above 12150 looks difficult as of now. |

Reversed from 12152. Since I will be away and off the grid, I covered my calls at loss and bought small qty of nifty, banknifty and RIL march puts.
but banknifty and nifty giving contra signals. something cooking and I may go wrong again. |

| I am long since 23/3 and won't be surprised by a massive and sharp rally in next 8-10 days. lLvels I am hoping for are 9200/500/10200/500 but not sure. |

I have been asked by some friends about investing opportunities considering the low valuations. I have advised that one should only look after his/her safety right now and not get distracted by market or the mouth watering levels. One should think of investing only after sept end if one is out of danger by that time.
This may sound like a harsh advice but these are once-in-a-lifetime drastic times. |
