I sold my puts on yesterday (Wednesday) and went long near low. Some profit booked today.

sorry for not updating. couldn't find my thread first.

I am short now and a close above 11585 NS will cause worry.

Sorry for returning after a big gap.

Market seems headed for a time correction that may lead it to very low levels if global situation worsens in next 2-3 months. Even if a ceasefire is called, sanctions on Russia will not be removed for quite some time and economy of most countries will be hurt badly and will take at least 6 months to recover, if not more. I suspect that investment may have to be postponed till at least year end. Fasten your seat belts for a new world order of the kind not seen for a century. IMHO, it's a sell on rise market for many more months.

Disclaimer - This is not any advice for trading or investment and just a personal feeling. Consult your approved/authorized financial advisor.

As far as I am concerned, I will decide according to my feeling.

Bought some puts today as per sell on rise mentioned earlier. A close on 11/03/22 at/above 16363 may suggest higher levels next week and almost definitely so in case of a close at/above 16482. But even higher levels next week, if any, may be short-lived and the sell on rise strategy may still be valid. However, it will have to be re-checked early next week.

Higher levels did come last week as posted earlier. This rise seems to be typical March rise for NAV purposes. BUT, IMHO, further rise henceforth may be an opportunity to get out. Any level from now on can be a false rise. The fall, when it happens, can be more painful than before.

NAV related rise showed its strength. Further rise was thanks to HDFC's merger with its bank and momentum took it beyond 17800. Now onwards, I will be cautious and will look to pick up some puts. Crossing 18351 can mean long term strength over the year.

to me, it looks like a typical retracement from a oversold state after a three day fall of 470 points. A close above 17825 would have been worrisome.
Let's see how it progresses. A highly truncated week is always bad for trading.

Once again a reversal. Now to see if this is genuine or a typical retracement.
