this week's close does suggest likelihood of confirmation of last week's shooting star. However, I need further confirmation in the coming week. World markets are in a bad situation and hence, may be more fall in coming week.

Nifty and BN close at/above 17672 and 39116 will be All Time High monthly closes.

never jump the gun.
first of all, they are not necessarily for Sept, more likely for 2-3 months though one never knows. second, market can always go up instead of down. liquidity decides all. FII liquidity is countered by domestic one. Also, unless there is an upheaval in world economy and hence markets, India can outperform developed and other emerging markets, meaning it will fall less compared to others.

It wasn't so but now we need to see if nifty closes below 17771. if that happens, it may signal a reversal.

sorry, couldn't update for some days since I was away.
nifty seems to be headed further up. but it has to close above 17920 first. Even then the way won't be clear to an all time high. There are obstacles which I will post later.
