targets are much lower if you see my first post. I had mentioned in one of my first posts on icharts that quarterly candle ending march was worst since 2008. then monthly candle for May was a hanging man with very high sell volume and negative divergence. it was also a NR6 month. latter is causing these wild swings and wide range.
I am, therefore, bearish on nifty. more so on banknifty. Only RIL is mainly driving nifty up. at least I am not convinced that market will go up much. while anything can happen in this market, puts, some of them long away OTM, are a good hedge for my investment. as such I don't trade heavily in options. I am making small but fairly consistent profit and I am happy with that. with such wild swings, one can't keep current options for long. hoping for a close below 10536 spot for an expansion on down side. |

the opposite happened and gap at 684 got filled. now follow through should come to confirm further bearishness. tmrw's expiry can spoil the fun depending upon OI. as of now, sell on rise may be the correct approach.
BTW, RIL led rally seems to have failed once again. now further RIL move is crucial. |

I found this in a forum - "yesterday 10600 Put July had highest OI which is strange as Nifty spot closed at 10590 and highest PE OI strike was In-The-Money. It doesn't happen every time. Last time it happened in Feb 2016 expiry. Feb 2016 expiry was at 6971 and Nifty highest Mar PE strike was at 7000. Next day Mkts opened gap up and rallied for whole month. Expiry was around 7731 for Mar 2016."
It depends on whether change in OI was with rise in price or fall. if fall, then above is possible. some more things to note. (a) july NF was at discount to June NF yesterday. same thing happened on May expiry and nifty went up for two weeks in june and then crashed, (b) max carryforward position for this expiry is on short side i.e. 80%. this can mean that the only thing to cover is shorts, (c) this expiry is also of 20 days like june and hence, we can see wild swings (d) June was a NR12 month and candle is an inside doji to previous doji and quarterly candle is an inside bar. It can mean very big range for july and next quarter. my gut feeling is market may shoot up till mid july and then crash again or vice versa. a close above 10807 and below 10589 should tell us. next week to be watched. |

| close below 10714 won't be good. even otherwise, it must hit 10838 and shouldn't reverse before that. |
