hi forum ,
This is my idea to look at stock selection for intraday.
POST MARKET
FOR LONGS
(1)PICK STOCKS WHERE ADX(14)>30 AND RSI(14) >70
(2)FROM (1) FILTER STOCKS WITH PRICE BAND OF 20% FOR NEXT DAY
(3) THREE MONTHS % GAIN FOR THE STOCK SHOULD BE GREATER THAN 25%
FOR SHORTS
(1)PICK STOCKS WHERE ADX(14)>30 AND RSI(14) <30
(2)FROM (1) FILTER STOCKS WITH PRICE BAND OF 20% FOR NEXT DAY
(3)THREE MONTHS % LOSS FOR THE STOCK SHOULD BE GREATER THAN -25%
ONCE CONDITION (1) ,(2) , (3) ARE SATISFIED THE STOCK IN WATCHLIST FOR NEXT TRADING DAY |

| Can u please confirm as to how do u apply this on our eod screener, and how do u filter 20% gain for next day,also how do u trade this stock? Better if u give an example. |

I would request u to share your watchlist on daily basis along with intraday watchlist and details of trades carried out by u so that all forum readers can comment on it.
also pl clarify price band of 20% or more means Average true range or otherwise?
3 months gain of 25 % is tricky as gain might be in 1st month only. need to be modified suitably. |

Onelikeu please provide list of stocks you select for any trading day and action in these stocks. Just discussing method without any details will not help much to neither you nor anyone else.
Also remove the criterion of yearly gains/losses. It has nothing to do with stocks's current trend/momentum. (just suggestion) |

Can you explain the 2nd point "FROM (1) FILTER STOCKS WITH PRICE BAND OF 20% FOR NEXT DAY" with example. I have not understood this.

Since u had specified its a technique for intra day trade
What would be the ADX and RSI if u were to trade with a view of 5 days or more.
