blame it on my trading style but whenever i see this kinds of very big pattern in 60 min chart i generally try to find a smaller version of the pattern or just avoid
u know if a pattern takes almost one month to complete then this will give a strong break out for sure, but when? this a a million dollar question and being a day trader, i cant afford to wait and watch so long
so here, going by technicals, i cant say any thing against ur ST in 60 min chart, but i will try to treat it like an AT where the break out level is around 125
again, in eod chart, u will see that the AT also has a bo level at 125 something, so my version in 60 min chart goes in tandem with the eod version which will make my position more strong
i am attaching my version, plz take a look, enter with a bo by a candle close, and then this bo level should act as ur potential sl |

renuka is a buy from 86 levels for swing with the sl c2c.....

Hi Manju Ji,
Thanks for ur kind word, you all have given me some confidence which is helping me to develop some strategies. Thats why I have named this thread as "A tribute to our Teachers".
I think some day, in any stock chart if the combination of pattern designed by You, Casper, Specs are found then it will be a block-buster trade for all of us here. Lets hope that I spot the same in near future and ask for the guidance, if the same is OK or not.

Spoted an AT getting build up with +ive Div in SRTRANFIN 1M.
BUY IN BO at 725.9, SL - 717 (Prv candle low), T - 735.3.

Chetan,
u need to create a universe of ur stocks which u need to monitor for some time.. once ur comfertable in these stocks then u can start trading the counters cause u ll know how the stocks behave their volatality how much they can swing in a day in a month etc... else u ll ve lot of these trades which killed by the noise...

is it AT any way???
u have taken a LONG shadow to draw the lower tl, ur upper tl has touched only two candles in the in starting
both of ur tls were virtually flying in the chart
shall we call it an ascending triangle?
lower tl should be ur support before the break out, upper tls should be ur resistance during the pattern formation
does it looks like that it has provided u any support and resistance respectively???

The most effective and bessst thing in the forum of Icharts is that your query will be answered in just few minutes or hardly in few hours.. but it will be answered nicely with proper guidance.
one should think tht typing such big answer for an individual takes time..

Hi Chetan,
Casper has rightly pointed out that TA is art so dont go always by sytem definations.. first thing is u shouldn swim against the trend.. and then when u spot a trade keep the primary trend in mnd before u initate it so even though u ve a very good pattern but if its against the overal mkt trend the sucess ratio would be quite less.. thats the reason i advised u to ve a set of universe and get comfertable as u can be dead sure about the movement.. i know that there are few ppl who can make money only by going long and few prefer only shorting.. i m a bullish guy from heart and my short trades are quite few so if ur stock is having a bearsh pattern u can exit it buy at lower so that u still make money by avoiding loss..
Remeber its not always about making profit in trades "profits can be made by avoiding losses also"
