I am posting below a chart of NF for last 6-days in 15-min tf.
It has 2 macd windows.
First one with sma based macd.
Second one with ema based macd.
they differ slightly and i use the first one only.

hi sonila,
in my trading software i a have macd long cycle, short cycle and singnal periods ... but it does not show the EMA or SMA , also when i put the values for long as 9 and short as 9 and signal period as 24 no graph appears on my screen kindly help me on this .. and can y tell me which software yu r using to trade ....

u put long as 24, short as 9, signal as 9. u will get the chart.

Hi Sonila,
very very good observation & good system to make money by using simple MACD values.
In my trading system it shows fast MA & slow MA & signal,
so how to fill the values.
as per ur suggestion long as 24 & short as 9 & signal as 9.
In my system can i put fast ma as 24 & slow ma as 9 & signal as 9.
Pl. guide me.

is it a pre-determined tgt price of 25 to 30 points or the tgt too is based on some points on the chrts??

Would like to know what strategy should be employed when a trade is taken based upon STS and WMA.....
I have taken an example of 06/06/12 BNF 15min TF, where both BUY & SELL was triggered...
please enlighten us here....how the trades should have taken place?

Dear Chetan,
Nothing special on this trade..
Trade entry was as usual based on entry rules 1st long taken... Booked 50 % once closed below 10 WMA.Same moment got -ve cross over of STS;so close all position and take a short..
Complete whipsaw trade once again stopped out and got a buy signal..
Keep following signals as they get generated w/o applying our brains

the tgt and sl are both pre determinded numbers what i m using. But one can use other methods also. I m satisfied with 25/30 pts on a daily basis.

Request PT/ST sir to help to put values in stoch as suggested by jjm or corresponding values for macd to match sonila set up.( viz parameter box 1, box2)..as i am not getting the same set up as shown in jjm & sonila charts..it will be helpful for all..thanx..
