sonila,
rising macd is purely your idea !
mine was to go long abv the high of previous candle only (provided buy setup is still alive) !

you are great, thanking me for your idea Laughing

Rahul bhai, as per the macd chart u posted, the bullish cross over taken place around 5196. After that nf made a high of 5237, a rise of 41 pts. Not bad at all. So ema based macd is also good.

Hello Rahul,
I am just a white belt member and not an expert. I made excel for SMA MACD(9,24,9) with NF daily close values. Please enter the values of NF of time frame required, copy & paste the formulae and adjust the data range for chart. Hope you will find it useful.

Thanks.

hi sonila
simple strategy.... with simple macd.... today me too got 24pts.... though it could be 30+ pts but didn't kno where to exit in macd....
MACD cross over and then buy/sell with stoploss of 30pts but where do you book your profit...??? again on crossing over....????? or do you book partial profit on same 30pts...???

Rakesh, as i trade a single lot, so book profit in 25/30 pts. But if u r trading in multiple lots, then u can book half in 30 pts, other half in 50 pts or signal to signal i.e next macd cross over. Hope i t is clear now. Thnx.
