I have placed horizontal lines on the chart using the "Support/Resistance Levels" lines feature from JCharts' right click menu. These levels are not automatically placed on the charts.

I am trying to add these levels to "Live Charts (Futures)" product in the near future so one would not have to place these lines manually. For now you would have to place the lines manually.

There is no such mechanical rule BUT one reason to do this (go long) would be because you can place your stop just below LOC. So this is a low risk setup as you would not lose much if it broke down below LOC. Such ideas and more would come from using these levels for a while.

Even though LOC is a critical level do note that the level that supports/resists immediately after market open would be far more CRITICAL level for that day. So trading around that level is important.

The only mechanical rules I use around these levels are a buy/sell on breakout above minor swing highs/lows (on 5 min chart) in the direction of trend. Stops go midway beyond previous two levels.
