Thanks sonila for ur simple MCAD method

Sanjay

thnx

Sonila Mam,

It is observed that 34 ema in our 15 min time frame acts as a boundary of bulls/bears. I consider it as bearish/bullish as per below above 34 ema in 15 min time frame.
Your comments please.

Thanks,
vlp

Mr. Kommall

This method was design by sonila is as below.

Set-up is as below
Tf = 15 min, only MACD cross over to be used.MACD settings are
Long type,period = 24
Short type, period = 9,
Average type, period = 9
All moving averages are SMA, not ema.

For long trades.
Macd should give bullish cross over on candle close basis.
If this happens, then see the high of this candle.Let it is 5650.50. Now make it round to 5051.Keep 2 pts filter. So, now place a buy order @ 5053.If it is triggered, then ok, keep 30 pts as sl.

If not trgd, then go to next candle high and repeat the same rounding and 2 pts filter process.

Just opposite, for short case.

Vlp, ur observation is true. But, if u apply it always, u may miss some good trades. Sometimes, i observed, some good short trades happen above 34-ema also and vice versa. Hope i m clear.

A interestig quote from an article--------
'
'It is important to note that after you have entered a trade you shouldn't change the oscillator that you are watching simply because the original isn't telling you what you want to hear, or in this case see. This can be a tempting practice for traders that are caught in an adversely moving market and are in search of a reason to stay in the trade for fear of taking a loss.

Yes, very true, it is suicidal to change indicator in the middle of a trade.

krab,
i m explaining friday's 9th nov 2012 sell with chart.
bearish cross over in macd in candle close basis happened @ 12pm.
now, low of this candle is 5757.7
so after rounding it is 5757
after 2 pts filter, sell order is placed at 5755.
this sell not trgd in 12-12.15 candle.
now 12-12.15 candle made a low of 5761.65
so now short is at 5759 which got trigd @ 12.23
stop loss is 30 pts = 5789
t1 = 15 pts achvd @ 1.06
tsl for 2nd lot = at cost = 5759
t2 = 25 pts achvd @ 1.08

hope it is clear now.
