| am still holding long with s/l below 5692.. worked for me a couple of times..lets see whether or not it works this time. |

Dear Sonila,
will u pl upload charts for 1 nov and 12 nov,and let all members apply their minds from academic interest to avoid or be very careful about such type of days where c/over happens twice a day,s/l of 30 pts gets triggered, ,moreover this derails our smoorhness of functioning ,Let us start thinking together and i am sure we may go some yards towards solution in antipicating such situation to some extent,othrwise ur system is working fine |

Sonila,
I think NF today did not move up, triggering the Buy trade with your MACD method.
However, BNF was having very good movement.
If you recommend 15 mins TF to take trade in NF then I think it would take time to hit the target.
What do you suggest? Is any fine tunning needed in the method that you recommend using MACD?

Today's summary (as per me)
buy signal on candle close basis happened @ 9.45 am
buy trgd @ 5718 @ 11.41 am, sl = 5688
position closed @ 1.01 pm @ 5698 as sell signal happened on candle close basis.
loss of 20 pts per lot.
after a loss of 20 pts in a trade, i will not go for 2nd trade.
(i cant bear more loss in a day)
(today, i had not traded, due to other works)
CLEARLY, system today gave a loss.
How to avoid it......i dont know.
one thing i observed, buy trgd after 8 candles of buy signal.
we can include this after many observation that to avoid this signal, but not now. |

I am also using the same software as sonila/replyab
As per that, the crossover happened at 9.30 am candle with a high of 5729. the long was triggered immediately at 5731 in the very next candle and sl was hit subsequently of 30 pts.
I ACTUALLY traded the signal.
My chart was exactly similar to the one posted by replyab. This is the first time that there has been a diff in my triggering candle and that of sonila. I am not able to figure out why. |

donot worry,u r not alone ,i also traded signal but actually i was away from terminal ,so could not square up the position when sell crossover signal happened and took the loss of 30 pts. |
