Dear, amitkbaid, i think you are using ema and vinst is using sma... that is the difference ...

Both are using MACD not EMA/SMA

i am using macd 9,24 with signal of 9 periods. All based on SMA's.

Is it not cumbersome to calculate these things on own ms excel sheet

Calculation may require just putting formula but data feeding is cumbersome

Platinum Charts does have option of SMA based MACD Laughing
