Hello,
Some clarity needed.
As per 8EMA for 25th Jan, it was 7424. Today Nifty went below 7424 but didn't sustain for more than 5 minutes, so we didn't square up our earlier position. Else as per 8EMA startegy, we should have squared up our earlier Long call & gone short @ CMP if Nifty sustained below 7424 for more than 5 minutes with a SL of 7451?
Is my understanding correct? |

Dear probalkb,
as per my understanding the buy trade was triggered on 22 jan 2016 at that time 8 EMA was 7420( EOD 8 EMA on 21-jan-2016) .
Once the trigger happened we are in trade with stoploss 27 points away which was at 7393 and tgt 7490. after that none of either hit on 25, 27, 28. The TGT achieved on 29-jan-2016.
if you have started to take EOD 8 ema on 25-jan-2016 it was 7424 .
On 27-jan-2016 as per system sell was triggered, with stop loss at 7451 and tgt 7354 but stoploss triggerd in that case.
Then again as per system(reversing the trade) buy at 7451 and stoploss was 8 EMA i.e 7424, but eventually in that case also stoploss triggered then again as per system (reversing the trade) we have to buy at 7424 and stoploss is at 7397 and tgt 7494.
and eventually tgt achieved on 29-jan-2016.
As the risk reward ratio of this system is good even after two back to back losses trader would have made atleast 16 points( without calculating brokerage charges).
The most important aspect of trading is that we have to follow the system with utmost respect.

thx Atrader.sorry i was away for last few days. anyways keep trading as per strategy rule. do not indulge in emotion at all. some more simple thrilling strategies in pipeline to review soon stay tune.  |
