Nifty 8 Day EMA Sure plus minus strategy |

Booked almost 90 points on gap up...enjoy... Even after hitting sl we made decent profits. Smart move smart strategy  |

started this thread around in October month.... Till today our all trades ended in profits gains ... just had a look on trade book records.... only a two trades hit consecutive Stop loss which does not matter when you you check overall Risk:reward ratio of my setup. Thank you for ichart platform and so much support from you guys.
only concern when you see Tax payable on speculative gains
 need a strategy for this now  |

Nice strategy SSP.
I tried to back test and realized one can earn more money with 2 lots and with SL in this strategy.
Additional rules / points may be :
1) 1st lot book profit - 70 points
2) 2 lot with Trailing SL for every 40 points move, 30 points SL move and close when there is difference of 100+ points between Price and SL.
3) once your trade is entered and price moved to 30+ points, move your sl to +1.
With these changes, Back test was able to gain more profit.
Suggestions are welcome. |

trailing position is ok. but do not try to change rules of strategy. you have to hold with 27 points SL. do not exit posssition by SL to +1 it will change basics of strategy and that is not recommended. good luck |

I dnot want to change the basic rules.
Say one entered at 7500 with SL of 7473, price moved to 7530,
If price comes back below 7500 (EMA levels), we can close and reopen the position if price goes back above the EMA levels.
If price continues to go down, sell at the previous SL level (7473). All the basic rules are satisfied except closing the long when price goes below the EMA levels. |

As per your first ever starting post, whenever SL hit and trade reversed, 8EMA become new SL and target price will be +70 of new trade price.
So, in the above quote of 29th Feb, first trade entered at 7084 but SL hit at 7056 and fresh short trade done at 7056 with SL 7084 and target of 6986. But Mr. Horizon.Mathur booked at 7014.
So, please clarify what should have been the target price, 7014 or 6986 ? |

... as said target price always calculate from 8 dma level. plus 70 or minus 70 of 8Dma level. gap ups/gap down is bonus if you get more than 70 pts |
