yest long is still active at 7856 spot, so untill we get 70 points from 7829, we hold with stop at 7802 i.e 7829-27 (1st scenario)
or you close yest long taken at 7856, when nifty broke 7835 (EMA 8 EOD yest), and short active, with STOP and reverse at 7862 spot (2nd scenario)
either of the 2 is what i understand.... |

Nakum, i also did the same
We have hit SL both sides
Trade --- sold @7829..sl hit @7856...reversed for target of 7899 with sl @ 7829
Sl hit today...we closed the trade |

| i got lucky...i longed yesterday after short sl was hit. this morning was busy so didn't close the long. Now holding long. |

As per second interpretation , 3 SLs would have gone and 4th given finally 70 points -- net loss 11 points
As per first interpretation ( which is not the system it seems!????) profit would be 70-27 =43 points |

EMA 8 to use on 25/04/2016 was 7829
EMA 8 to use on 26/04/2016 was 7835 (if we are not in trade from previous EMA 8
On 25th we short @7829 with SL@7856, which hit & we reversed the trade with SL@7829.
On 26th, the trade was carrried over, so we didnt considered EMA8 -- 7835.
As per Ichart, market opened @7826 & made a ow of 7824. So we exited as SL hit on the very first minute
Now we should consider the EMA for 26/04/2016 -- 7835 as we dont have any trades from previous day.
Nifty crossed 7835 & we should have entered with SL@7808 with target@7905.
Which was achieved. However I chickened out & just watched.
This is my understanding. |

| I think that perhaps the mistake is in identifying SL. the SL should remian 27 points from the 8EMA level. For instance once our short SL was hit at 7856 and we went long, the SL should have remained at 8EMA-27. In that case the long SL would not have been hit. |

true makes more sense... i had a similar thought...
but then your SL becomes 54 points for 43 points target unless you hold on with additional lots and trail....
