Good Channasri, you have some observation which might be working. Lot of combinations work & some tools give excellent support & resistances. You need to work on it to master it.
Nobody who has taken years to learn mkt would want to reveal their secrets. Also if everybody knows one technique which works, it will stop working slowly & a new technique will develop. You need to keep working to figure out what is working.
Anyway I will share a little old technique. Try it & analyse it thoroughly. I think, It works partially. But you need to do a deep study to understand, where & how which one works.
Try Combination of 13, 36, 80, 260, 365, 480, 720 & 900 Exponential parameters. You can put all of them & test it on different time frame.
Try it on daily, hourly & 15 min charts. Some of them work on 4 hour chart too. In a running strong trend the highest or lowest Avg will act as the top & bottom of the trend many times, but the gap has to be wide.
All Exponetial - you can test other types as well. Also jumble them here there & you will find your own system which works. But these systems you need to work with stops, to avoid major hits on big moves. Anyway that's your homework to figure out, what system to develop. These parameters are my own which I tested & found to an extent working. I sometimes slightly change them to check which is applying better. So No thumb rule, you can change a bit & test your own parameters too.
Good luck

|

Thanks Shashangan for the chart provided. I actually refer to 1000, 400, 200, 89, 34 kind of moving averages in EMA, SMA and WMA parameters for 5 min. T/F.
For 15 min. T/F, I consider 5, 13, 20, 34, 70 and 200. For hourly charts, I rarely go beyond 89. An observation of mine is that WMA over SMA is more reliable than EMA over SMA for a given No. of periods.
If e.g., 70EMA/70SMA is considered, suppose EMA X overs SMA and then reverses, tremendous movement is generally observed.
Best regards,
Channasri |

Chanasri: Your posts are fantastic. Please start you own thread so we can focus on what you are posting about crossovers in your thread AND read Gautam's Nifty analysis separately in his thread. Looking fwd!

Mkt still in range. There could be a small pull back correction to Min. 5985
6002 - 5953 could be the possible range till 1.30 pm.

People holding short can again partially cover around 5952-50 & replace shorts on pull back.
Thanks

Bank Nifty @ Tgt 1.

http://www.icharts.in/forum/download,id,15833.html
The previous big bear Weekly low broken briefly for now.
Mkt is not giving any correction. Hope it gives correction here from 5926 low to 5980 atleast. Not sure, just hoping. Intra day players can cover all the shorts for now & replace it higher on pull back correction.
Mkt is turning overall negative slowly. All pull backs would be sold strongly I suppose, unless somebody dares to make a massive buy to bring a short rally, quite unlikely to me.
Good luck

Sorry had to rush for a meeting in the afternoon.
Vinay yes it can hold around 12200. But I am wondering, will it just be for a brief intra day bounce & then come back to pierce through it for a bigger fall same day to close below & target 11670 around in subsequent days.
One possibility which I stated earlier
http://www.icharts.in/forum/download,id,15842.html
If NF crosses 5992 there is some small hope mkt may close in green possibly for a day before reversing from 6022. I doubt mkt will cross 6062 which is also a remote possible extension.
Let's see what happens tomorrow.
Good luck

People who covered lower can place a very small quantity of short at 5972/73 June.
New shorts may probably wait for some time & watch.
Thanks

Add another one @ 5993 - 95.
New entrants can enter here with a stop @ 6026. Can be a little risky.
Thanks
