There could be a small correction from 5898- 5895 region for intra day I think.

The mkt may give a small intra day correction from around 5870.

Just got back to Bangalore on Friday. Was away for almost a month. Could not track mkt closely, but was noticing the developments in between.

But anyway at last the correction down I have been expecting from 2 months has finally come.

Did a quick analysis.

I think the mkt can pull up a bit to correct the present down trend to 5965 region which could give some stiff resistance. If upside extends, Mkt may try around 6000 region max. Be prepared to short from around 5965 NF. When mkt gets there, I shall update the top in case I am watching the mkt. Once selling resumes mkt can target around 5745 region & 5720 if it extends a bit.

There can be intermediate pauses around 5820 & 5775.

Cautioning in Advance - Though little early to say, Be careful as mkt nears 5750 with any Short positions. People will turn bearish & give all justifications with budget for a big bear trend. The mkt will again resume uptrend to go on to break the previous highs. Min target would be 6165 by April from 5745 or a little below.


Just settling down from my trip. will take a few days. I will study the trend little more in detail slowly. Kindly do your analysis as well.

Hello Veenu,

I dont trade or track Bank Nifty. But I was trying to understand the chart. The trend is not very clear to me, but if down trend, the target could be just below 12100.

Yesterday's closing 12363.70

You can always ask me again, if you need my view, I shall check & tell what I feel.

I am a bottom & top picker. I generally dont take entries if i miss the bottom or top. If I miss it I wait for a good correction & pick the correction bottom or top. But for now may be If you get 5878-85 NS could be a good short.

Closing 12055.50

If I am not wrong 11895-860 area is the immediate target followed by 11510.

Upside 12280 - 12300 area should see some stiff resistance if it pulls back, possibly the area to short.

NF - There could be some selling from around 5870-74 region.

Expecting 5820 by Monday hopefully. I could be wrong though.

Stops may be above 5894. Play minimum, play cautiously.

I think 12110 could be shorted in Bank Nifty for now. Not sure of Stop, May be just above 12170. I dont have good charts for Bank Nifty. The price is showing around 12095 now.
