real ones ... but I clearly said don't follow me ...do your own analysis and trade

I could even deviate from being with strategy as still learning ...

but the strategy is good one on paper

lets hope for the best ...

failure at beginning is always good

hi,
couple of things i want to understand if its ok for u:-
1) you have lost almost 50% of your capital in 4 trades is it your system/stgy is having problem or you are not able to follow it or your stgy is right but current mkt in not conducive for your stgy?

2) in your first trade the loss was 10% and in your second tade it was approx 20% of your capital. what money mgt have u applied if any or it was due to carrying the trade on or you have not applied any money mgt rules?

3) do u continue with yr current stgy/system or test it further or tweek it as it generated huge losses ?

if u r comfortable kindly reply.

Vishu: I used to trade NF & O but stopped as I took big losses. I feel that my losses were bigger than nec due to huge gap between buy and SL
Dont u feel that your losses are also very high due to BUY @ 156, STOP 117 = almost Rs 40 gap???
May be in the beginning you should keep tight SL, say Rs 10 and aim for RR of 1.5:1 or 2:1 ie book profit at Rs 15 or Rs 20 higher?
Then when your capital becomes more due to profit booking, you can relax the SL a little bit?
Also remember that call and put option prices magnify the movement of underlying scrip. So your SL should be tighter than you would keep for underlying scrip or else you can be hurt badly

hi

owing to success of the strategy ... have got overconfident ...

you are right mistakes were on my part too ... for point no 1

still carrying with the strategy as the fault is much with my psychology than the strategy ....strategy is clean .... i cross checked again

reg % of loss ... that is ok as its a positional system but still will try to keep it small

thanks sher
