Hi All
Hope the interested members have taken entry today at 5210 in Nifty Future Swing trading by going short. 12 days EMA on today's closing is also 5210. So following is the call for going long in Nifty Future.
Buy Nifty Future at 5210 on 13/01/2010. If Nifty Future triggers at 5210, then place stop loss of 5160. The stop loss is valid for 13/01/2010 only.
The above trigger price is 12 EMA on closing price of Nifty Future as on 12/01/2010. |

HansRaj, to understand yr concept fully; hypothetically say, we are short at 5210 trigger 12 ema on Jan 12th with SL + 50 at 5260and the closing ema Jan 12th is 5231. Then for Jan 13th we will hold our short and go long only on trigger of 5231 with SL of -50. Correct ??
Q2. SL of +/- 50 pints is only for the trigger day and thereafter it is the 12 ema. Correct?
Q3. For Jan 13th we have to ignore the initial SL of 55210+50=5260 of Jan 12th and keep the SL as 12 ema which co-incidentally happens to be 5210 also. Correct?
Q4. IN case mkt opens gap up on Jan 13th, above 5210 we immedialtley square our position and go long. Correct?
Thank you in anticipation. |

If there is gap up above 10 points from trigger price, you will automatically go long (see rules), if gap up is above 10 points from trigger price, go long wihout waiting for 5260. Ideal time to take decision is after 10 minutes from opening of the market. |

Hi! Hansraj,
A clarification please ...
In the morning, Nifty Futures was trading above the trigger price of 5210. We would have gone long at that point keeping a stop loss of 5160. Subsequently, Nifty Future made a low of 5176 and is currently at 5220.
Now, suppose Nifty Future went below 5160, we would have gone short. Would our stop loss then be the trigger of 12 EMA which is 5210?
Thanks & regards,
Amit |

I never see what happened during intraday. My trade is I went long in nifty at 5210 with SL 5160. I don't know where it will move during the remaining part of the day. It may remain above 5210, between 5210 - 5160 or below 5160. In first two instances, I will hold my long position, but if it triggers below 5160 even for once during the day, I will hold short position. |

Thanks a lot for your reply, Hansraj. Sincerely appreciate it.
Assuming Nifty Future went below 5160 to 5150 today, we would have been short.
Now after touching 5150, there is a big pull back to 5240. And tomorrow also, Nifty Futures keeps going up. Then when would you reverse your trade.
Regards,
Amit |

Hi All
Hope all the members have now gone long at at 5210 in Nifty Future Swing trading. So following is the call for going long in Nifty Future.
Sell Nifty Future at 5215 on 14/01/2010. If Nifty Future triggers at 5215, then place stop loss of 5265. The stop loss is valid for 14/01/2010 only.
The above trigger price is 12 EMA on closing price of Nifty Future as on 13/01/2010.

In such a situation, check out the 12 ema on the previous day closing, if that level has also been surpassed, better decide after 10 minutes of the opening and go/hold short or long as the case may be on the basis of initial trend. Please keep in mind, this is a game for atleast one year, 2-3 such instances do not spoil the game. |

Hi! Hansraj,
Thanks a lot for your clarification. All doubts cleared now.
I love the system because of it's simplicity and one does not have to glued in front of a computer screen the whole day.
Will definitely take a position based on this system.
Thanks once again for your guidance.
Regards,
Amit |
