Hi sandew
I tried PSAR (Parabolic Stop-And-Reversal) also few months back. I that time found that we get better results only if market runs in a single direction upto substantial points like around 400-600 points, otherwise in sideways, as these days, we generally lose more points in comparison to points gained. I am using 12 Days EMA (close of previous day) as next day's trigger price whereas change in PSAR will be noticed only at the end of market and next day I may or may not get to know at what level I should go long or short.
Thanks for your comments. |

Hi rajanx12
You are very right rajan. Actually, as per my plan next move for nifty swing is to go short. But people wanted to enter in between as no one know upto what level nifty may go upward and where the reversal point will be. People wanted some opportunity to go long in swing as they didnot want to wait for getting the opportunity to go short. Therefore, by using various indicators on weekly charts, I suggested them to go long at 5223. You can say, this is a Wild Card Entry for go long in Nifty Future Swing Plan.
Thanks for nice querry. |

Thank you. When you have back tested this simple strategy successfully it is worth following. Let me recapitulate your current position
Date Jan 4 say 20100104 (yr-mo-dt) (this format easy to sort on excel )
Nifty long 5223
SL 5178 (double the nifty quantity)
I case market goes up you will advise the higher SL after close of day.
Correct me if wrong. |

Hi Sandew
Noooo. SL will be 5128.
For example if nifty first goes above 5223, go that level. Then place SL at 5128 (which is 12 days ema as on 31 Dec.2009 for January Future contract) for going short on two lots. Suppose, if this also triggers, only then again SL of 5178 (50 points above 5128) to again go long.
See 5223 is just a wild card entry, it is not as per my plan of 12 days ema. So as I told in this call, if 5223 triggers, thereafter use the rules of the game and as per rules, you have to go long or short as explained above. Be careful, this strategy will be for 4th dec., if on 4th dec nifty triggers only 5223 and does not hit SL, you will be long in nifty and hold it. Next day a new trigger price will be generated on the basis of 12 days ema on close of 4th Jan. and use that level for going two lots of nifty short and if that trigger takes place, only then you will again place SL of 50 points above that level for long. And that will be for that day only.
Please go through the rules given on page 1 very carefully to know the detailed tactics.
Thanks |

Sir thanks a lot for educating people how to make money!
sir i have one query, and suppose we are long on nifty. sir let's take for example
nifty futures price - 5200
yesterday's 12 day ema- 5150
sir my question is that if nifty future breaches that level (5150), would we short 2 lots with 5150 as trigger price, or some points lower than that.
Sir i want to know that sometimes in volatile days nifty will time & again breach 12day ema, then how to take care of that situation. |

Hi dishant
You are right. As per your example, if you are long, you will short 2 lots of nifty at given sl because in that case you will have a fresh short position.
Read the rules very carefully, there is a system of 50 point up or down on the day trigger price gets executed. Just go thru the entire rules given in last page.
Thanks |

Hi rajanmadhavan
As per our plan, we are already long in nifty and now we have to go short. so for going short, on the basis of 12 days ema, the trigger price comes as 5128. But if nifty future does not go to that level and goes upward, you can go long at 5223 and thereafter follow the rules given on last page of this thread.
Thanks |
