Hi Amit
Nifty took support at 10340. What is your view? Will it move down further as change in trend? If so whats your down side target?

yes I am short .....
10400 put bought @120 and
NF sold and
Short 25900 BNF call @ 200
Stop is 10440 for NS and BNF no stop would be able to manage with relative ease like always
10270 is first target ( may be last ) since there would be fresh sell below 10200 only
Since trend had been bullish loss is easily possible in NS while short BNF would make up for it or part.
If posted something else don't recall but trend change is only below 10200 and not earlier .... Till then markets may rise till 10700-10800 or more I don't know |

In fact that becomes resistance now and hence I short sold 25900 call
That's how a trader and trader,s trades should change over time ( whichever timeframe chosen) based on market Action |

Strange , safest thing to do
At least write on CALL side
( this would shield black swan event typically on downside) except near to major event |

10270 target hit and not yet bearish
I would "always" hold BNF call sold at 200 in profit at 138 CMP now ( and hedge and communicate if market moves above certain levels)
Note: my BNF target is 26500 and it can well rise there if NF 10200 /24700 a-25000 holds ( so managing would come into play later on) |

Oo, I always manage that by some puts,
why to take trouble of writing calls, keeping a tab on it and risking my money |

Somewhere I mentioned earlier 10200 as fresh sell
Today low 10180
Give it space
Still critical level of 10240...... Would wait for directional sell trades
And allow it to break 10120 first.......
In meantime it would at best be sideways even if moves above 10300
And would be VERY difficult to cross previous highs and sustain.......... |

Nifty has now closed decisively below ur level of 10120.should one go short now.what r the tgts and time frame as per your view.

Decisively was a bad and wrong word
I have booked profit in BNF calls total 125 now CMP 75 sold 200
I still feel it is on support
10050 - 30 should not break and it can consolidate and go up
So medium term it becomes sideways to down on break of 10050
It becomes down on break of 9965 medium term
Having fallen off 10240 it can be sideways be short term 10050-10250/10280
Trade accordingly ( or if unsure refrain from trade)
I suggested the trade and closed in profit now without needing any adjustments
If I have a trade and feel like positing will do so |
