Any negative in HDIL?

Technical fall, as per charts. Not expecting it to go below 70 from here. If it does will have to reconsider. But for the moment holding with same view.

Embarrassed. Exited in loss. Broke 70.

HDIL has fallen because NCLT had admitted Union Bank of India's insolvency application for co's unit Guruashish Constructions

This is the development which has made it crack.

Not for me. Not even going to look at it this year again. Price correction shouldn't be the only factor to buy.

Bank Nifty spot cmp 24040 approx... We should see 23600s soon.

If it falls further, then it will take support near 23200s.

RelCap is offering Reliance Home Finance shares in the ratio of 1:1 and If I am right, the record date is 4th Sep Else certainly some time early next week. So the price will get affected accordingly.

BTW, any idea on what is the LIKELY expected price of RelCap and Reliance Home Finance after breakup?

Nope, I didn't know about this. My pick was purely based on technicals.

It was a buy at 650 as it was under book value. But it rose quickly to 750 within 2-3 days.. sometimes I forget the stock I select due to other work. It can extend its rally to 950 as well, whatever it's adjusted price is accordingly.

Banknifty crosses 25000... Nifty 10100...

We should be consolidating for next few weeks. I feel for short term market will settle now.

Nifty's been trading in a range of within 450 points (lower side 4.5% down from top)

and Banknifty in a range of within 1400 points (lower side 5.5% down from top)

Which does not amount to a significant correction.. just basic consolidation going on since 6-7 weeks as expected.

I'm inclined towards seeing new lows now, but not sure yet.

10% spike within 1 week already. High of 88 so far today.

Made us wait a little more than expected but nearly there now. High of 93.50 today. Will exit near 95-96.
