1) Shoppers Stop Limited cmp 575-580... trgt 640-650 in 1-2 months.
2) Bank of Maharashtra cmp 13-14.... 2 possible targets immediate medium term 17-18... If things get better keep holding for long term. Not expecting it to go below 10-11.
Thesis on Bank of Maharashtra:
The immediate target is based on technicals. It's highly oversold and has been building good positive divergence that can give upto 20% upside atleast.
I found it to be the only PSU bank nearing single digits and has been taking a beating since 2010 from near 90s levels. It has broken it's 2009-2009 lows as well which was near 20.
It's one of the banks placed under PCA by RBI for having high no of NPAs. It's already beaten from 40s in the recent weeks to to near 12-13 levels and is trading at less than 50% of it's price to book value. Board is going to consider qrtly results on May 4 and also dividend. It hasn't paid any divided since 2015. So it's likely things may improve for it. If not then RBI's resolution would be to have it merged with some other bank.
Remembering how Bank of Rajasthan when merged with ICICI returned 2-3 times of its trading price before the merger happened.
All in all the scope of loss in this seems limited and that's why I would be taking a position in this.

SBIN cmp 247..... Will cross 270 in May / June series.... I don't see it breaking 230. But if it does then last stop 222.
PSU Banks shall start reversing and consolidating from this series I feel.

Kotak Bank cmp 1205.... It has a good resistence at 1230-35.. and it will declare results today... Just for intraday one can short near (if it comes) 1230 with small SL for trgt 10-15 points.

If Banknifty spot breaks 25470 then expecting 200 point fall to 25270.

Sure, because Karanataka elections are in May. Post this event, VIX will again settle.. anyway close to 13 is also acceptable. |

High today crossed 15. Results are much better than earlier. Loss reduced by a significant percentage.

Request your quick view on nifty and bank nifty for next week. I am seeing a -WW on 15 minutes, hourly and 4 hours chart on bank nifty, is it correct or not I don't know.
