volatility is at it's lowest in US markets and historically it spells doom for dow. Will it happen and affect us too?

Retail participation is low at US markets. It’s not yet picked up. This Bull move is mainly sponsored by Institutional money (We know where from they got this money).Unless otherwise there is an unexpected financial catastrophe; US market is not going to doom. It’s against their best interest.

A simple logic….Its they who pumped up the market why do they beat it down without getting rewarded? For that to happen it needs some more time for sure.

market is going down here because DIIs and funds are selling for their NAVs and bonuses for their fund managers. Smile

NAV is based on appreciating underlying stocks.

Selling would take place only if there is redemption by the investors.

And vinay remember that the bonus of the fund managers is based on the funds collected and not the performance of the fund (NAV etc). Though they would like to have an appreciating NAV in order to attract more investor money into the fund.

What makes them think that all the selling will be absorbed ? How come FII are still buying at the net level so DII selling is being absorbed by FII buying?

Do FII know anything that DII dont know?

Whats the deal? More government stake sale coming up , I think.
