Nifty for Tuesday (01/04/14)
Supports are at about 6688, 6669, 6640 and 6570 while resistances are at about 6730, 6760 and 6825. Three +WWs can give about 6720, 6751 and 6770 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Two -WWs can give about 6625 (once below 6709) and 6515 (once below 6650) (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A rising wedge can give about 6480 in case nifty goes and remains below 6680.
Nifty fell a bit after a gap up open but managed to close above 6700 and continues to look bullish. However, there are signs of index management through sector rotation. Also, daily candle is a hanging man and there is a mild -ve div on lower TFs and on monthly chart and -ve div on CCI on daily chart. Hence, it may be tiring out. Nifty will have to close above 6760 to continue uptrend. However, if it closes below about 6640, it could fall more. Weekly resistance is at about 6763. Oil price and/or INR and other global cues will remain key to the future of Indian markets in short to medium term. VIX can cause wild intraday swings. Trade carefully in view of RBI policy review on Tuesday. Note that Tuesday is April fools' day. |

BNF is -90 or so and 12000pe is -17%, 11500pe is -25%
Puts right upto ITM 13000pe are all in negative net change despite fall. Looks like Bank nifty is going to be range bound and consolidate for sometime. |

This is a new one for me! RBI Rajan must REALLY be a magician! He keeps NF (main dancer) at one place and when u are not looking, the assistant dancers go "CHA CHA CHA"!!!
Also see how ALL nearby options, call and put, are in negative THOUGH NF is minus. Kya manipulation hai?!

In the month of Nov '13, I had posted two nifty daily charts of 09-10 and 12-13 showing hidden div on rsi and had forecasted that nifty may move like it did in mid 2010. I am attaching an updated chart showing that nifty is on its way for a likely target of 7281 by about end June.
The middle line is a +ww line which has given its target thrice so far, last one being last week.
Incidentally, there could be about 200 point fall soon.
Old charts are also attached. |
