Today Nifty Sept 4900pe saw most amount of OI being added for next series and with very low no. of contracts in comparison. And the price being above 70-80. So it didn't come cheap.
5100pe SGX Sept I had mentioned 2-3 days back, and that level has already come.
And now I see 5000pe added to low volumes in Sept SGX and 7400ce has been added with a higher OI. |

you can try again tmrw only if it comes down sunstantially, say by 100 points though doubtful. Better buy 5400ce for sept after dips. Only problem is tmrw may be a gap up open. |

7400ce?
by the way, cost of carry is very low this time, one of the lowest even though shorts in stock futures are being carried forward. This means we may not see nifty falling in sept the way, at least the way every body expects. I feel today's low again at the worst but that too doubtful. Also, vix behaved just like it did in 2011 around sept. I feel it will repeat and come down to 16. |
