Very true...Hedge will at least protect me to some extent.

Isn't this euphoria is in this market from so long time, I remember when Nifty was around 7450 and next day it opened 100 points up in start of September series 2013. that gap is not yet filled.

Probably there are many such gaps which never filled yet. TRUE BULL PHASE. Will Nifty ever go to 5500 again? Confused

nothing is impossible shreyas but that will require both India and world have a crisis. in that case, last year's low of 5118 is also possible. however, as of now, it looks unlikely

shreyas, first of all, no "sir" pl. No, I have no idea how/where too get such charts.

by the way, last SL for shorts/longs can be daily close above/below 7710/7560NS but a close above 7630 may give hope to bulls and a close above 7672 will be good.

Shreyas,

I dont think you will get ready charts of 2008 - 09, in 1 hour time frame.

You have to draw your own charts for the same, after obtaining, data for that period and feeding that in a charting s/w. But it will be a costly affair.

I would have helped you, but in June I deleted all my 1 min IEOD data from 2005 - 2013 from my charting software and replaced it with daily data, so as make space for further data

1 You should be Premium subs of ICharts (I dont have Platinum so dont know about that type)
2 Switch over to J Charts Premium chart
3 At bottom, left, see msg: "click here to view intraday historical charts"
4 When that chart displays, change the period of chart etc, you should be able to view 1 hr TF by changing in the box in first row
5 If still unable to get what u want, pl write to admin at support@icharts.in
Just like Vinay wrote, I am requesting you, "Prakash" no sir, sirjee, etc. not son in law of Pasta Queen

Nifty for Tuesday (12/08/14)

Supports are at about 7619, 7594, 7565, 7532, 7506 and 7482 while resistances are at about 7662, 7686, 7701 and 7718. Upper and lower unfilled gaps are at about 7650 and 7568 resp. Both 10/20 dma are at about 7680. Four +WWs can give about 7685/7787 (once above 7638), 7704 and 7722 (once above 75920 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Two -WWs can give about 7512 and 7496 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now).

Nifty almost closed flat after a gap up open but well above 7600 and just above 50 dma. Island reversal posted yesterday may have happened provided it is confirmed by a further upmove on Tuesday. Daily candle is a tiny hammer. A hidden div is seen on daily chart. In addition, Monday was again a NR7 day and we may see big move on Tuesday. A close above 7672 can start fresh upmove but will confirmation by a close above 7747. Liquidity is strong and one needs to be careful. we can also see wild intraday swings. Market will continue to dance to FIIs' whims and fancies.

I don't know how to respond. I am not a "know-all" guy. I post what I feel may hint at something so that others can also try to interpret. If they too get confused, I am happy. 24
