it's always risky reshma but I feel it's worth it as of now. I will review again tmrw to see whether 7876 holds.

ritesh, what is important is which puts you had, what price you bought and sold and what price you bought which calls since it is always the timing/levels at which you enter the trade. This is because I have been talking about higher levels or going long since last 2 weeks.

I am a "bit" reckless and have lost a lot in the past but somehow my hunches have been coming true lately and I don't know how or why. I bought more calls since I have made some money lately and my average was anyway <10 and I will definitely buy more tmrw if I see lower levels because I am going to go for the jugular. I also have 3600ce for infy and 1020ce for RIL. In the morning, when nifty went up, I also bought sept 7800pe since I had posted last week that Monday will be dicey. I covered them near the bottom and bought more calls.

Obviously, I don't have any SL in mind but if I have to have one, it will have to be presently a bit below the recent low of 4.25. Alternately, I will also be watching levels which are closely spaced on lower side e.g. 7887/76/67/55/50. If it sustains below 7850 even for a short time, I may have to give up.

apka, today ratio of 8000ce to NF was about 0.30. If nifty goes up again, this ratio will start going up till NF is well above 8030 when it will become ITM. In that case, 29 will be swept aside viciously.

God is great. It shows that NF didn't break yesterday's low though NS did, which means we may just see a bit lower level tmrw also.

Thanks vinay...
They way tata steel hindalco icici axis bnf nf fell n closed near their lows I too feel it will open lower... 7880 nf is crucial for tomm... This also happens to be a break below level as per one excel sheet...

ritesh, fall in metal and bank stocks was a kneejerk reaction to SC judgement. SC never said that allotment were cancelled nor will it do it as huge investments have been made in many projects. problem is for those mines where no work has started and firms are simply trading licenses. I feel things will cool off latest by tmrw afternoon. we should not go strictly by some levels when fall/rise is news based. Just allow it to cool off. Could be a bear trap also.

Nifty for Tuesday (26/08/14)

Supports are at about 7887, 7876, 7867, 7855, 7823 and 7815 while resistances are at about 7948, 7976, 8026 and 8081. An unfilled gap on lower side is at 7891. Four +WWs can give about 7935, 7968, 7990 and 8014 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Four -WWs can give about 7885/75, 7857 and 7823 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A bullish flag can give much higher level unless killed below 7795. A bearish flag can give lower level unless killed above 7945. An IHnS can give about 8170-8275 in case nifty sustains above about 7881.

Nifty fell sharply after making a new high upon a gap up open and closed -ve but above 7900 again. Daily candle is like an inverted hammer. Also, the -ve div on daily and weekly still persists and RSI has not gone above 67.25. However, monthly chart is still good. Close above 7969 will be bullish. A close below 7840 will bring bears back and a close below 7746 will be bad. Liquidity is strong and one needs to be careful. We can also see wild intraday swings, this week being expiry.
