Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum...It looks amazing that all expert trader are active here in this spot. I am very amateur in compare to all of you.

I think 20EMA acts as strong support and resistance point. Since Nifty has closed above 20EMA on 04th August, Do you think NF will breach 7800 and touch 8000

Thanks
Shreyas

7750/7760/7770 are very important lvls , 7750 being trendline resistance, 7760 is a=c and 7770 is 180 degree from low of 7595 and 70.7% retracement of the entire move

RBI Governor warns of global market crash

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Raghuram Rajan says global markets are at risk of a "crash" should investors start bailing out of risky assets created by the loose monetary policies of developed economies.

The comments, carried in an interview with Central Banking Journal, reiterate Rajan's previous warnings that emerging markets were especially vulnerable to big shifts in capital flows brought on by the unprecedented monetary accommodation in rich nations.

The former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund compared the current global markets to the 1930s - a period marked by the Great Depression.

Rajan said back then countries were engaged in a period of competitive devaluation, in a similar way to central banks now being engaged in ever more accommodative policies.

"We are taking a greater chance of having another crash at a time when the world is less capable of bearing the cost," Rajan said in an interview on the journal's website dated Wednesday.

Rajan said he worried about the impact of investors exiting markets all at once after buying heavily into assets inflated by these loose central bank policies.

"There will be major market volatility if that occurs. True, it may not happen if we can find a way to unwind everything steadily. But it is a big hope and a prayer," Rajan said.

There's a type of chart where candlesticks look like a centipede in trend. I forgot the name... Something like heineken... Can anyone post that for Nifty & Bank Nifty.

that's indeed a centipede that is slowly biting all bears and injecting its poison but bears can't feel anything. its effect will be seen soon. 24 24

manoj, is this a question or a comment? Smile

by the way, level is 7574NF but it may or may not go there. I am already small long in 8000ce and 16300ce and hoping to be right.

Nifty for Friday (08/08/14)

Supports are at about 7632-25-16-08, 7587, 7575 and 7531 while resistances are at about 7666, 7703 and 7738. A lower unfilled gap is at about 7602. 20 dma and 10 wma are at about 7671 and 7605 resp. Two +WWs can give about 7723 (once above 7639) and 7787 (once above 7594) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 7530 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now).

Nifty made a lower high and low but closed flat and just below 7650 and still looks bearish. Daily candle is an inverted hammer cum doji and we may see a reversal on Friday. A close well above 7678 will avoid an inverted hammer on weekly chart but unless the crucial zone of about 7723-38 is taken out on closing basis, further upmove is difficult. Close below 7600 can be bad. At the same time, liquidity is strong and one needs to be careful. As nifty is in a small range, we could see wild intraday swings. Market will continue to dance to FIIs' whims and fancies.
