The normal purpose of mock trading is for exchanges to try out updated system software but reality is hard to guess. You can try on your terminal and check if you wish. I am not sure all terminals allow it. I never tried because I feel there is more fun in knowing levels of various indices and stocks.

If NS breaks down much more, likely support seems to be between 8456-8346 zone.

This is just a personal view and neither a recommendation nor a tip nor an advice for any trade.

Nifty for Monday (08/12/14)

Supports are at about 8512, 8505, 8498, 8485, 8472, 8447 and 8380 while resistances are at about 8545/51, 8577, 8615, 8707 and 8733. An unfilled gap on lower side is at about 8494. Two +WWs can give about 8677 (if above 8455) and 8704 (if above 8519) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Three -WWs can give about 8482 (if below 8555), 8452 (if below 8594) and 8441 (once below 8506) (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). Two HnS can give about 8500/8460 if nifty remains below 8557/8543.

Nifty fell sharply and closed below 8550. The -ve div persists and further fall is likely. However, a close below 8463/25 seems unlikely but if it does then it may invite bears. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term. Liquidity continues to be strong.

if it falls further, best place to go long around 8440-8400 where I will add. nifty has touched bottom line of gramophone today and hence bought

This is just a personal view and neither a recommendation nor a tip nor an advice for any trade.

Nifty for Tuesday (09/12/14)

Supports are at about 8425, 8398, 8380 and 8358 while resistances are at about 8473/87/99, 8513, 8557, 8587 and 8609. Four +WWs can give about 8550 (if above 8425), 8558 (once above 8494), 8588 (once above 8525) and 8629 (if above 8359, which is yet to be reached) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 8350 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now).

Nifty fell sharply on 8/12 as predicted and closed below 8450 and is bearish. Though daily candle is a big, bearish Marubuzo, there is a +ve div on lower TFs and we may see a bounce. Also, it took support from weekly S2 level though monthly S1 level is 8380. Nifty is now in a "sell on rise" state unless it closes above 8538 to begin with. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term. Liquidity continues to be strong.
