This is just a personal view and neither a recommendation nor a tip nor an advice for any trade.

Nifty for Wednesday (24/12/14) and beyond

Supports are at about 8257, 8237, 8224, 8200 and 8171 while resistances are at about 8299, 8339, 8350, 8380 and 8407. A previous unfilled gap on lower side is at about 8225. Three +WWs can give about 8395 (once above 8285), 8410 (once above 8312) and 8510. (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 8197 (if below 8277) (-WWs with lower targets are not mentioned as of now). Two IHnS can give about 8420/8620 once above 8280/8400.

Nifty fell sharply as a result of bearish div posted yesterday but managed to close above 8250 and suddenly appears nervous. However, a mild bullish div has now appeared and gets nullified only below 8228NS/8237NF. Otherwise we may see a reversal on Wednesday. Nifty now has to close above 8377 and then 8455 to continue the upmove. A close below 8200 can be bad. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term. Being an expiry day, expect volatility and hence trade carefully.

haha, actually it fell a lot and so must have been written.

I am worried now that expiry may not be 8380 since (a) 8300ce went below 5 and (b) 8377 was already reached 2 days earlier. Hopefully, 8320-40 at least.

today being expiry even 8225 may be hit.

I will follow my yesterday's level of 8230 with 30tf or 8250 with 60tf.

so far so good... lets see if 8300 is touched...
all bets off if it breaks NF 8216,
till then a bit reversal till 8270, crossing 8277 again will see 8300 touched....IMHO

OI on 8250 PE almost 50% more than 8250 CE, means expiry doesnt seem to be below 8250 ... unless we have a gap down, then we could see max low 8220 / 8230...
only crossing 8305/8310 would give hope of upside and then if 8329 is taken out, then i m hoping that whatever amount we fell today would be recovered + some more....

else a stalemate anywhere between 8250 to 8300 expiry...

pls give your inputs to know if i m reading it correctly...

it did. so now 2pm candle must close above 8340.50 otherwise even 8287 becomes resistance.
